Adele Baquet MS, CCC-SLP, OM
Speech-Language Pathologist | Orofacial Myologist
Adele received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from California State University, Fullerton in speech-language pathology. She holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and the State of California license to practice speech pathology. She has worked in the school and clinic settings, specializing in autism and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Adele has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since June 2005.
Jillian Brotman
Office Manager
Jillian has worked as the Office Manager of Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since June 2006. In addition to her work, she is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from California State University, Los Angeles.
Tara Clougherty MA, CCC-SLP, OM
Speech-Language Pathologist | Orofacial Myologist
Tara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communicative disorders from Indiana University and Master of Science degree from University of Hawaii. She holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and the State of California license to practice speech pathology. She has worked in school, hospital and clinic settings. Tara specializes in orofacial myofunctional therapy. She has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since September 2005.
Vanessa Jarrett MS, CFY-SLP
Clinical Fellow
Vanessa received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Communication Disorders form California State University, Fullerton. In addition to her work at Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc., Vanessa also provides instruction in voice and articulation, phonetics and child language disorders as an adjunct professor within the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program at Cerritos College. She began her clinical fellowship at Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. in December 2007.
Kimberly Lovein MA, OM
Educational Specialist | Orofacial Myologist
Kim received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach and her graduate degree from Claremont Graduate School in education with a specialty in reading. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from NOVA Southeastern University. Kim has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since November 2004, specializing in educational therapy and orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Ted Levatter MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist | Fluency Disorder Specialist
Ted received his Bachelor of Arts degree in dramatic arts from University of California, Santa Barbara and his Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from California State University, Los Angeles. He holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, the State of California license to practice speech pathology, the California Community College Credential and is a member of the National Stuttering Project. Ted specializes in disorders of voice and fluency. In addition to his work at Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since 1999, Ted is an assistant professor of speech at Glendale Community College.
Kristen Mantle MS, CCC-SLP, OM
Senior Therapist | Speech-Language Patholgoist | Orofacial Myologist
Kristen received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degree in speech-language pathology from California State University, Northridge. She holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and the State of California license to practice speech pathology. She has experience working in hospitals, nursing homes and private practice. Developmental language, swallowing and orofacial myofunctional therapy are Kristen's specialties. In addition to her work at Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since 2000, Kristen is adjunct faculty in the Speech Language Pathology Assistant program at Pasadena City College.
Maryon Matsuda Ph.D., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Maryon Matsuda is a professor emeritus in the Department of Communication Disorders at California State University, Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University in Communication Studies. She holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, the State of California license to practice speech pathology and the life time Standard Teaching Credential with a Specialization in Elementary Teaching from the state of California. While at Cal State Los Angeles, she taught courses in normal language acquisition, cultural/linguistic diversity in speech-language-hearing pathology, research and writing. She was also the coordinator and a supervisor for directed teaching.

Topics she has covered in her publications, miniseminars, papers, and workshops include: communication skills of blind children, storytelling and classroom discrimination, communication strategies for working with Asian parents, communication intervention with Down's Syndrome infants and toddlers, pragmatic skills of Hispanic children, a model for training bilingual paraprofessionals, and using puppetry in speech-language intervention. Maryon has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since August 2003.

Yasmin Rahimtoola MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Yasmin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from University of California, Berkley and her Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology from Boston University. Her clinical experiences include a pediatric outpatient clinic, medical center, and elementary school. She enjoys working with the autistic and apraxic population. Yasmin has also been trained in behavioral intervention and has worked as a clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. Yasmin has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since September 2008.
Alicia Roberts MA, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Alicia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Arts degree in speech-language pathology from Northwestern University. She holds the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and the State of California license to practice speech pathology. She has experience practicing in both the public school and private clinic settings, and specializes in dysphagia and voice therapy. Alicia has been with Justine Sherman & Associates, Inc. since August 2007
